How We Met
Rachel was working as an intern at KPF when Josh joined the firm and was sat right next to her. Rachel thought he was cute and loved listening his voice, and Josh thought she was cute too. Eventually, he asked her to a going-away party he was throwing for a friend, and she RSVP'd for herself and one guest. When she showed up at the party with a girlfriend, he was relieved! After that, it didn't take long for us to realize we were in love.
How We Got Engaged
Josh informally proposed on our third anniversary (September 22nd), with a card that had a drawing of a ring in it (so cute!) Then, after picking out the actual engagement ring together, he proposed on September 28th. We were at Gramercy Tavern, and after a fabulous meal, the ring came with dessert. Josh got down on one knee and I started to cry, even though I knew it was coming. For the first time in my life, I wasn't at all interested in dessert!
